SMS provides pressure barrels and housings for MWD tools in both Beryllium Copper (BeCu) and Nitronic 50 (N50). BeCu and is the tried and true material for barrels and housings. Within the last several years, Nitronic 50 was introduced as an option to BeCu because of it’s superior wear properties.

All SMS barrels and housings are engineered and precision-machined to the highest standard by our skilled and experienced team. SMS is able to design and machine parts to any length.
